Spend more now to spend less in the long run.
I really want to upgrade to some kind of hardwood flooring. The problem is that the decent material is so expensive. The price make you appreciate why so many people opt for the cheaper alternative of laminate flooring. I have been down that road in the past and although many laminate floors can look amazing they don’t last very long. Before long you start to see the board warping and the wood picture stat to come way for the edges. So to avoid this I want real wood flooring. I believe the extra money I will have to spend will be worth it.
